J’ai l’honneur d’être invité par Wayne Powell (University of the West of England – UWE Bristol) à participer  au Royaume-Uni à  un week-end de débats et de discussions autour du blogging.

L’événement est organisé par MediaWise, le projet européén MediaAct project (UWE), et le  NUJ New Media Industrial Council.

Introductory session plus: Why blog – to set the agenda, earn a living, challenge the mainstream? And what are the quality control issues?

Saturday 28 July: Pervasive Media Studio, Watershed Media Centre

10am – Regulating the mainstream and the margins

A chance to display and discuss the relative values of online regulatory mechanisms including the NUJ ‘kitemark’ and the Corrigo technique.

11.30am – Talking together

Creating an international forum for and about bloggers – to share techniques, achievements, problems etc.

1pm-2pm – Lunch (a set menu will be provided at the start of the day for you to choose from)

2pm – Protecting free speech

Is the blogosphere a free for all or could it benefit from solidarity and organisation at a national or transnational level?
